These pieces are explorations of balance, structure, space and geometry.
The graphic lines in 2D are interesting enough, but in 3D create a constant change in character according to perspective.
The play with the weight of each stone is of a crucial importance in creating the individual character of the piece.
Some of the inspiration comes from looking at architectural drawings, some come from the less conscious sketches of young children.
Using silver with nylon coated stainless steel cables – the steel is of high quality 304 grade (said to be the same as that used on the roof of the Chrysler Building in New York).
