The materials for this body of work are sterling silver and hand-coloured polycarbonate. The way this translucent material captures and reflects the light is reminiscent of vast spaces in the sky, the colours evoke the wonder of changing light. The fluidity of the line is of the qualities of the slowly undulating roads taking us into the unknown. It is grounded with the more geometrical silver elements that represent the known.
They are made using the alchemy of heat that sets off the unpredictable forces which create both the form of the pieces as well as the colour of the polycarbonate.
